our staff
The medical staffs of the utopia medicare center include nine physicians:
One general internist, one general surgeon, three surgeries sub specialisats (neurosurgeon , orthopaedic and plastic surgeons ) two paediatrician , one ophthalmologist and one cardiologist . the general internist serves as the primary physician for all patients , but function together with other colleagues as a team when needed, utilizing the
sub-specialists input . if a perplexing diagnostic question arises , he can call upon his or her colleagues without delay for expert advice and assistance.
The physicians at the utopia medicare center are available to patients not only during the clinic visits , but also room visits and emergency calls 24 hour 7 days a week .
Basic examination
The basic examination begins with a comprehensive medical history including an evaluation of any symptoms or specific health concerns the patient may have . this is followed by a complete physical examination .while a patients age and history will influence test selection . investigations include:
* pulmonary function tests, electrocardiogram and a chest x-ray.
Blood tests include a complete blood count,sedimentation rate and blood chemistries*
Including diabetic screening and a lipid profile to assess for cholesterol problems .
*stool and urine culture and and analysis .
*liver and kidney function tests.
*specialized testing, if desired or indicated.

The solution for our repeaters guests in our hotels (Pensee Royal Garden, Cindrella Beach Club, Utopia Beach Club, Royal Utopia) is to change their medical insurance policy to another more respectable insurance company because Euro-Cross (Cyprus) is not a good company and they guarantee the payment when the patient in the medical center and after 2 month they send 10% of the total amount. By this way will be able to enjoy your insurance service during your stay in our hotels. So we will not accept any policies for this small unrespectable company Thanks |
